We don’t know if Jeep has any more plans to offer another Jeep model with the powerful engine but if they do, which model do you think deserves to get the powerful engine? The Wrangler SRT is likely to be launched at a later date.
Being Jeep’s top-selling model a year ago, it’s understandable why the Jeep Cherokee would be the most appropriate target for hackers to test out its security. The Grand Cherokee is powered by the 3.0L, EcoDiesel, turbocharged, V6 diesel engine, that produces 240 bhp of power and 570 Nm of torque. The standard variant measures 4,828 mm in length, 1,943 mm in width and 1,802 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,915 mm and a ground clearance of 206 mm. The Grand Cherokee SRT will include a 6.4L, HEMI, V8 engine with 470 bhp of power. The Grand Cherokee SRT will also have fuel saver technology.

Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed paddle-shift operated automatic transmission and distributed between them via the Quadra-Trac II (Limited)/Quadra Drive II (Summit) four-wheel drive system. Transmission will be handled by a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The SUVs also come equipped with safety features like 4-wheel traction control, cruise control, airbags, ABS, rain brake support, keyless entry, hill control and hill assist.
