In 10 starts at Homestead, Busch is winless, with only one top five. For starters, Homestead-Miami is his favorite track – he has finished worse than 11th at Homestead just once since 200. Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. and their teams will have to be at their fastest and smartest Sunday in Homestead, Fla. I mean, we don’t have a choice.
“Now going to Homestead for the first time with the opportunity to win a championship is really awesome”. Though I have never dealt with fans swarming me, I am sure it can be a pain at times, but you have always tried to handle them the best you can.
He is hoping for back-to-back wins, something he knows will not be a gimmie, especially after an up-and-down Chase where twice he faced elimination.

Busch is racing for his first Sprint Cup title and should he pull it off, it would be the first for manufacturer Toyota, as well.
Hendrick Motorsports driver Gordon is one of four men who can win the Sprint Cup at the Ford Ecoboost 400, which will serve as his final race before retirement. However, as the championship is set to be determined this Saturday at Homestead-Miami Speedway a good case can be made for just the opposite. Wallace defended his move, saying, “I was racing hard, he was racing hard”.

I’d be more bothered by all this if NASCAR wasn’t likely to switch all the rules up again for next season, keeping everybody confused and nobody completely satisfied with the sport’s playoff product.
“They did a good job of getting a good guess at what we needed to qualify with”, Busch said.
Childers is fortunate enough to have that encore opportunity with Harvick.
