Harvick has only three top-fives at Martinsville over his career, but he led the most laps (154) during the spring race.
Keselowski was second at Martinsville in the spring and has three consecutive top-six finishes at Phoenix. “I don’t know that you necessarily need to sympathize with them”.
But theres no better track for him to spark a run toward a fifth championship.
“Joey Logano didn’t have to do anything to Matt Kenseth, except he knew Matt Kenseth was going to be a strong competitor for the championship and he eliminated him”, said Kyle Busch, a teammate of Kenseth’s.
Gordon celebrated with frontstretch burnouts that resulted in his No. 24 Chevrolet being pelted by beer cans and debris, just as Logano’s was Sunday.
It’s on to Martinsville this weekend for a 500 lapper at the famed “paperclip” short track.
