Jennifer Aniston, Justin Timberlake, & Kerry Washington Surprise Ellen

Ellen DeGeneres usually is the one doing the surprising (just ask TODAY’s Matt Lauer), but her talk show staff still shocked her with two A-list guest stars to help celebrate the 2,000th episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. Jennifer Aniston was the first guest to appear on Ellen’s first episode in 2003.

Honouring her friend with a bottle of red wine, the actress said, “You really have changed the landscape of how we love each other in the world”. She’s won several races, and appeared yesterday on the Ellen Degeneres show. It was Ellen’s another dearest friend, Justin Timberlake.

And the talk show host – who had been ordered not to leave her dressing room before the show – was thrilled by both her unexpected guests. Television Group, Peter Roth, who announced that for only the fourth time in the studio’s history, a stage was being renamed in order to honor DeGeneres. “Keep up the good work, lil’ bro”. In commemoration of the hallmark occasion, DeGeneres took the stage again Wednesday for an opening monologue packed with an even greater punch. I think we are both just on our own journeys and figuring ourselves out and I think maybe once we figure ourselves out we can come back and make an awesome duo or she finds someone awesome and I’ll find someone awesome.

“Do you know how hard that is, to surprise this person?” While the trio joked around Kerry Washington also entered the scene.

“Honestly, on behalf of all of us, you’re a treasure”, Roth told DeGeneres.

Washington also played “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” on the tuba to earn $5,000 for her favorite charity.

This turned out to be Ellen’s one of the most memorable moments and a memory of lifetime.

“I officially dedicate Stage 1, which forever more will be now known as The Ellen Stage”, Roth said as he presented a teary-eyed DeGeneres with a plaque.
