Jennifer Lawrence: Playing Hunger Games’ Katniss Inspired Me to Fight Pay Gap

Part 2 will be the last time we’ll see Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth andJosh Hutcherson together in the film franchise.

The final film in the four-part franchise, which is based on the trilogy by American novelist Suzanne Collins, will conclude the story of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer) and her battle to liberate the citizens of Panem.

Lawrence said it took her a while to adapt to her new life in the spotlight amid the massive “Hunger Games” success – and the pressure that accompanied it. “There were a few years of getting used to it, your entire world changes”, she said.

“And this felt like it could be underground with the supports and the vaults and all of that”.

The actress is preparing for her farewell in the movie as its final installment, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” will be released soon.

E! News was also at the Part 2 world premiere in Berlin.

They will also try to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Francis Lawrence, Nina Jacobson, Sam Claflin, Elizabeth Banks, Donald Sutherland, Willow Shields, and Jon Kilik are all expected on the red carpet. She explained, “I literally never go over things”. She talks about the character as a source of inspiration for herself, and relates this to her recent essay on the gender pay gap.

“So I think it would be impossible to go four years with this character and not be inspired by her”, she continued.

She said that in the past she anxious about being labeled a spoiled brat when negotiating movie deals, but she was now finished with trying to be “adorable” while getting shortchanged. She’s been on this journey and it feels very complete to me.

“I think that people are built the way that they’re built”, she said.

Jennifer Lawrence has made waves recently and not just for her acting ability. “I failed as a negotiator because I gave up early”, she wrote.

After playing Mystique in the current set of “X-Men” movies, Jennifer Lawrence is now rumored to be joining another film that will expand the current Marvel Cinematic Universe experience.

“She makes me really nervous because she bounces her leg, like this nervous jitter thing”.
