Jennifer Lawrence says final ‘Hunger Games

With “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” dropping in theatres this November, fans are starting to feel a stab of separation anxiety.

It is nearly fitting that Philip Seymour Hoffman is one of the first actors seen in the first minutes of the film – the actor, who died a year ago, passed away before filming was completed for his character. Instead of Big Brother-style games, the last challenge for the Joan of Arc-like heroine Katniss (again played with tremendous fiery gumption by Jennifer Lawrence) is to topple the great dictator, President Snow (Donald Sutherland) himself.

No offense to Liam Hemsworth, who has made Gale more of a well-rounded character and less of a tall, handsome meathead with each consecutive movie, but Katniss’ hunting buddy never stood a chance.

When asked whether she would hit Berlin’s famed techno clubs after the premiere, she replied that she’d prefer a hearty meal because she was “pretty hungry”, and quipped that “No, no, I don’t belong in a club, I’m an old lady, I’m too elderly”. So far, it looks like they’ve dressed Vergara for this year’s Met Gala and Emmy Awards, and Shipka for her Mad Men farewell press tour and the Emmys.
