During her interview on the “Today” show Tuesday (July 14), the “Singled Out” star explained her spur-of-the-moment dye decision.

She posted a photo on Instagram of her new look before sitting down to chat with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford.
The caption casually might have some of you convinced it’s just a wig, but the hair dye around her forehead tells a different story!

Then, Jenny pulled out her phone and she was Face Timing with Donnie, who was working in Queens, New York on the set of his TV show Blue Bloods.
“Thank you to my unbelievable hair & makeup team this morning!”
“I showed him this morning quickly and he’s like, ‘You look lovely, ‘” McCarthy said of husband Donnie Wahlberg.
