Jeremy Corbyn vs David Cameron: Highlights of their first clash at PMQs
However, Cameron said measures had been introduced to parliament and were being discussed.

Jeremy Corbyn set out to change the tone of the usually adversarial and heated Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs) time when the new Labour leader faced off with David Cameron in the House of Commons on 16 September.
Defeated leadership rival Andy Burnham is shadow home secretary, Hilary Benn stays on as shadow foreign secretary, and Diane Abbott is shadow minister for global development.
“He was about to go and do his big speech at the TUC“.
One of the major questions hanging over Mr Corbyn’s fledgling leadership is how he can unite Labour MPs, when so many of them did not want him as leader and disagree with many of his beliefs.
Mr Corbyn, who was dressed in non-matching jacket and pants and had failed to properly button his shirt, was branded a “disgrace” by critics.
Mrs Cooper was speaking after left winger Mr Corbyn was elected the new leader of her party with a resounding mandate – 59.5% of first preference votes.
Responding, Mr Cameron said he welcomed Mr Corbyn’s approach and said he would be “delighted” if the session could become a “genuine exercise in asking questions and answering questions”.
Asked repeatedly in the pooled interview whether he would sing in future, the Labour leader merely insisted he would “take part fully” and “did not see a problem” with his actions.
“And there’s nobody more passionate than Jeremy about the fight for those freedoms and the fight against fascism”.
“It’s all about building on the cuts they’ve already made and making the lives of vulnerable and poorest people in our society even worse”. I liked the way he looked at him over the top of his glasses.
The new Labour leader has crowd-sourced the questions for his first appearance, receiving more than 40,000 suggestions from supporters.
And on Tuesday Mr Corbyn attended a service at St Paul’s Cathedral to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, and declined to join the singing of the national anthem.

“Bombing alone will not reach a peaceful settlement to anything”, Corbyn’s deputy Tom Watson told the BBC on Sunday, adding that the Labour Party would need to know what the mission was and how much it would cost before taking a decision. If I did that in Rochdale I would get hung, drawn and quartered.
