The video includes many references to Jordan’s Space Jam, the most notable being the game’s final shot, where Lin summons all his animated power and stretches his arm out for an impossible dunk.
It looks like popular American professional basketball player Jeremy Lin has chose to return to comedy. Back in 2011, Lin posted his own little comedy video “How To Get into Harvard” featuring Higa.
The entire video is brilliant.
Straying away from the Looney Tunes collaboration that made the Michael Jordan original so successful, Lin takes an anime spin on the classic. Jeremy Lin stars as the replacement for Michael Jordan but knows that he is nowhere near the level of Lebron or MJ.
Does Lin hit the shot and save the day for his new team?
Instead of Bugs Bunny and other Warner Bros. favorites, Lin finds himself surrounded by iconic characters from the world of anime, including Sailor Moon, Goku, Yugioh and Naruto.
At first, Lin struggles to see how this ragtag group could possibly play effective #Basketball together as a team.
