After falling behind, 28-7, at the end of the opening frame, Charlotte chipped away at San Antonio’s lead, eventually cutting it down to just 72-67 by the start of the fourth quarter. The changing of his mood began when the Hornets finally started playing like a team that could win. Lin finished with 29 points. He also hasn’t made a field goal in the fourth quarter of either game (0-of-6, all on 3-point attempts).

In the interview after being named the best player of the game, Lin said that they just turned the game up and played hard. I’m just thankful to God. “I’m just saying, please”.

In Chicago, Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson had 18 points each, Doug McDermott added 16 and Pau Gasol had 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 109-102 comeback victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Sager’s battle continues: Turner Sports reporter Craig Sager says in an interview with HBO that his leukemia is no longer in remission.

Pacers 91, 76ers 75 – Paul George scored 15 points and Monta Ellis added 13 and host IN pulled away to hand Philadelphia its 19th loss IN the last 20 games.

The Nets are hoping for a better outcome after their 115-103 loss to the Pistons on Saturday. The 76ers only got within one score once the rest of the night, after Canaan’s 3-pointer with 7:06 left in the third made it 55-53.

Whether it was the Spurs taking their foot off the gas or just the Hornets clamping down defensively, it’s the second straight contest a good defense has held San Antonio to fewer than 90 points, and that’s cause for concern.

While the Spurs slumped, Golden State recovered from their weekend defeat with a 109-104 win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. His 17 points were his most since joining Charlotte.

“It’s a good win, it’s a lot of fun and they’re a good team, so it was a good test for us”, Green said.

The Nuggets led by as many as 22 points in the third quarter after Harris knocked down a 3-pointer from the wing.

Spurs’ Tim Duncan looks at an official during the first half in. Lin also had 35 points in the win over the Raptors in December.

But Jefferson picked up his fifth foul with 8 minutes left and Augustin hit a pair of 3-pointers to cut the push the lead back to 16. The Hornets will play seven of their next eight games on the road, starting with a game against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.

Charlotte is only 5-10 against the current top five teams in the East this season, and considering they have been banged up at times this year and have lost Michael Kidd-Gilchrist for the season, their odds of making the Conference Finals seem slim. “It was one-on-one, turnovers, gave up 29 points in the quarter”. Tony Parker led the Spurs with a team-high 19 points, five rebounds and a game-high seven assists…
