Jeremy Mincey ends holdout, Cowboys give him a raise

Mincey, who arrived at Cowboys training camp in Oxnard, Calif., Saturday night after missing three practices, did not dress for Sunday’s session after being activated from the reserve/did not report list. That doesn’t mean his holdout will end just yet, though, because a source tells Archer that Mincey could still choose to skip practices even after this meeting.

He then spent seven seasons with the Jaguars before joining the Broncos in 2013 and the Cowboys last season. Mincey also qualifies as “a big 2014 addition”, and even though he had the best 2014 season of the DEs now on the Cowboys roster, his age gives him the lowest future value to the organization.

Stephen Jones, the team’s executive vice president, said the two sides “probably won’t address that until after the season”. They have weaknesses to overcome, so they need their strengths to be good enough to achieve that. “We played hard, we played tough, we ran to the ball”. He flew through it without ever protectors, despite the fact that, like the Cowboys expect to simplicity him back to it. But he terminated… They Cowboys will ease Mincey into apply and will maintain him out of pads. Mincey did not stay away from training camp long in his effort to get a contract extension.

It might make more sense for the Cowboys to play a wait-and-see game, since Mincey is stuck and will have to play in 2015 no matter what. “So we’ll see what he is capable of do and we’ll make the suitable choice for our staff and for him”.
