Green’s schedule for the Olympic basketball team includes training sessions and exhibition games from July 18 through August 1. If convicted, Green could face 93 days in jail and a $500 fine.
Edmondson ran into Green in East Lansing the very next night outside of a restaurant. Edmondson, whose 22nd birthday was Sunday, told police he and his girlfriend were choked Friday night by men who were with Green at a bar near the campus. Supposedly, Green turned around and asked him, “Do you know who I am?”
Edmondson told police his trouble with the Warriors star began at another bar the night before. He indicated that Draymond put his hand on him and started to talk to him. The other responding officer said that he heard “a loud smack noise”. Jermaine Edmondson said that he didn’t need any medical attention and will not press charges against Green. Green was also there and Edmondson spotted him talking to his roommate.
