Jerry Jones displeased with Ezekiel Elliott’s dispensary visit

It seemed running back Ezekiel Elliott had some free time ahead of the game and took a tour of the city and found himself in a marijuana shop.

Before taking the field against the Seahawks in Thursday’s preseason game, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott reportedly made a visit to another popular Seattle venue.

Elliott wasn’t photographed indulging in the dispensary’s offerings, nor was he breaking any laws, because Washington is one of two states in which marijuana is legal. The video did not show Elliott making any purchases.

Prescott’s star has risen meteorically this preseason, prompting many to wonder if he might be the future under center for the Cowboys.

“Well, I think that, in and of itself, the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process, but it’s not good”, Jones said. “But it’s not good”. “But he added that being sighted at a place that sells a substance banned by the National Football League was “(just) not good,” repeating those words three times to underscore the perceived seriousness of it all. I heard the report. “And he needs to look at that”.

Elliott, 21, signed a four-year deal with the Cowboys in May worth an estimated $24.9 million, with a $16.3 million signing bonus.

Elliott had seven carries for 48 yards in the Cowboys’ 27-17 loss. Elliott is also under investigation for an alleged domestic abuse incident after being accused by his former girlfriend.

Elliott, who has denied the claims, has not been arrested or charged with a crime and has yet to be interviewed.
