Jerry Jones wasn’t a fan of Ezekiel Elliott’s pot-shop visit in Seattle

Before taking the field against the Seahawks in Thursday’s preseason game, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott reportedly made a visit to another popular Seattle venue.

Elliott played in 15 snaps in the first quarter of the Cowboys’ 27-17 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. “But it’s not good”. “But it’s not good, It’s just not good”.

With the Cowboys Week 1 game against the Giants rapidly approaching, the 2015 Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year will look to put these off-field incidents behind him.

Jones is just glad Romo didn’t get hurt and he was able to joke about the situation after the game. ESPN’s Todd Archer reports Romo is unlikely to play in Dallas’s final preseason game.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo left Thursday’s preseason game against the Seahawks with an apparent back injury after being sacked. I would know how he is, and he needs to look at that.

TMZ published the video of the former Buckeye checking out the cleverly named Herban Legends, and the site was sure to point out there is no evidence he bought anything.

Cowboys QB Tony Romo exited Thursday night’s preseason game on the first series after getting hit from behind by Cliff Avril and appearing to injure his lower back. After Werder’s report aired on ESPN, his colleague, former National Football League running back Merril Hoge, said somebody should sit Elliott down and tell him, “Nobody’s ever played with drugs and won”. Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said the back soreness would not limit Romo’s ability to be ready for the September 11 season opener against the New York Giants.

“I thought he was going to try to throw it so I tried to swipe down and get his arm but I guess the force just, whatever, messed his back up”.

Jones praised Garrett for making the right decision, but said the Romo scare doesn’t raise his anxiety level about aging quarterback’s ability to play 16 games and his long-term future.

“We don’t think it’s a serious thing, and we just felt better keeping him out”. Elliott denied the allegation and has not been charged while the Cowboys have stood behind him.
