Jessica Alba: ‘I was a too-tanned teen’
The actress now insists, “The most important foundation is great skin”.

While Ms. Alba may not regret getting involved with The Honest Company, she recently told Fox News that she does regret getting tattooed when she was younger.
Forbes has valued her company at $1.7 billion.
“If an organization wants to bring awareness to their cause, I’m an easy target and our brand is an easy target obviously, because I get a different kind of attention than other brands would”, she said on the show.
“When you look into any of it, it’s baseless”, Alba added. Another lawsuit is directed at the company’s Organic Infant Formula, which the Organic Consumers Association claims contains 11 synthetic ingredients.
The 35-year-old actress has a few inkings on her body, including flowers on her neck and Sanskrit scripts on her wrist, but admitted they aren’t as meaningful to her now as they were when she first got them. “We’ve been working on this line for years”.
“I did a little bit as a teenager and a young adult”, the mom of two – she shares daughters Honor, 8, and Haven, 5, with husband Cash Warren – said.
For “Mechanic”, Alba says it was gratifying to be “able to see the female lead not just be the damsel in distress, but get to actually get in there and do the action and kick some butt”. I remember, it was a trend and we all used to do it.
Not only is the Honey star over having a faux glow, she is also no longer interested in wearing too much makeup. I would go to my cousins’ dances, like the Sadie Hawkins dance, and we would get a fake tan before.
She shared with Allure magazine: “I would tell my younger self you are smarter than you think you are”. I also thought a lot about boys even though I was so shy and never really had a boyfriend until I was 18.
Jessica originally became involved with The Honest Company, when she began to learn that many additives found in food and in health and beauty products are hazardous for people and especially for children.
