Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey Cast in Marvel’s Iron Fist
Iron Fist centers on Danny Rand (played by Game of Thrones Finn Jones), a New York City native who left his life behind after his father was murdered by one Harold Meachum, set to be played by David Wenham.

The release date for Marvel’s Iron Fist is unknown, for now. According to the EW report, Stroup and Pelphrey have been cast to play Joy and Ward Meachum, respectively.
Stroup starred on the CW’s “90210” reboot, plus Fox’s Kevin Bacon vehicle “The Following”. They will also be joining Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones and Star Wars: The Force Awakens), who will play Colleen Wing, an expert of martial arts who’s an “invaluable ally to Iron Fist”. In Iron Fist, Daniel Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years.
“Finn wonderfully blends confidence with vulnerability, making him the ideal choice as he struggles to find his place in the world”, said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel TV, Jeph Loeb.
Stroup and Pelphrey are the final two series regulars to be cast in “Marvel’s Iron Fist”. “Dexter” alum Scott Buck will serve as showrunner.
In typical superhero fashion, Danny fights the criminals plaguing the city with a mastery of kung-fu and summoning the power of Iron Fist as he tries to clear his name.

There’s no word yet on when Iron Fist will arrive on Netflix or when Danny will be introduced into the Marvel world there – so far, the series have been cagey about their connections (with Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple as the only through-line, until Carrie Ann Moss’ Jeri Hogarth appeared towards the end of Daredevil).
