Jesuit’s Nicole Peterson name Gatorade Oregon volleyball player of the year
Webb is the first Cherokee Trail athlete to win a Gatorade player of the year award in any of the 12 sports it is given out in and she is the 27th different Aurora individual to win at least one, joining others in football, volleyball, baseball, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls track & field and boys and girls soccer.

Peterson has signed to play volleyball at the University of San Francisco. Peterson tallied 956 assists, 142 digs, 120 service aces, 95 kills and 22 blocks while posting a. 552 kill percentage and a. 453 hitting percentage. She earned Miss Volleyball honors in Louisiana.
