New York-based JetBlue Airways is adding 5X-daily nonstop service from Boston to Atlanta, beginning March 30, 2017, the airline announced September 7. JetBlue has announced plans to begin flying into Boston from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson worldwide airport on March 30, 2017.

JetBlue put the focus on its hub in Boston, where it’s the largest carrier, even while announcing its return to Atlanta. Delta, which is seeking to expand Boston flights to 90 a day by June 2017, has focused heavily on the MA capital in recent years and added it to a list of hubs and key markets about two years ago.
Flights between Atlanta and Boston will be operated on JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft featuring the airline’s award-winning customer service with all-reserved comfortable seating; complimentary and unlimited name-brand snacks; more than 100 channels of free SIRIUSXM® radio programming and 36 channels of free, live DIRECTV® programming on personal seatback televisions; free Fly-Fi high-speed wireless Internet, and the most legroom in coach. JetBlue previously said it would offer six daily weekday flights between LaGuardia and Boston starting October 31, with two round trips on Saturdays and three on Sundays.
The airline also announced it will add a fourth daily flight on its Boston-San Francisco route, beginning July 15, 2017, and it will expand seasonal service to year-round service on two Caribbean routes: Boston-Montego Bay, Jamaica and Boston-St.

JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes visited the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport last week to hear a pitch from state officials to begin air service in Manchester. The new route will be especially attractive to JetBlue’s Boston-based business customers who have long requested that the airline serve this important market.
