The Fly-Fi system will ensure all the passengers are given high speed internet without any extra charges.

When JetBlue commenced operations in 2000, it became a game-changer by offering new entertainment feature onboard which were previously unheard of from competitors.

In addition, JetBlue announced its partnership with Amazon to bring on-demand entertainment, dubbed Amazon Video, which will allow Amazon Prime members to stream TV shows and movies inflight as part of their paid membership. The Hub includes a wealth of content including video from Vox Media, PBS, NatGeo and more, the latest e-books from HarperCollins Publishers and magazines from Time Inc. At least passengers on board JetBlue will remain assured of free internet. A survey conducted by Honeywell Aerospace in 2014 found that for 66 percent of USA fliers, Wi-Fi availability is an important factor when it comes to making a flight booking. The in-flight Internet system tested on the E190 aircraft was the Thales/ViaSat Ka-band satellite-supported system.
