The first game of Week 2 is a divisional matchup, which already has the feeling of a must win game for both teams.

Thursday Night Football Bills vs Jets scores and results will be posted here.

It was a very entertaining game for a Thursday Night Football game. Neither team has an elite offense and field position will be key. That was not the case tonight, as both teams came out firing. That partnership means people will be able to watch the Bills and Jets for free on Twitter in most countries throughout the world.

Marquise Goodwin sprinted past Darrelle Revis down the right sideline to haul in an 84-yard touchdown pass from Tyrod Taylor and vault the Bills in front 7-3 on just their second offensive play. “The Jets were a much better team than we were today, especially their offence against our defence”. Still, being at home will be a plus for the Bills, and of the two quarterbacks, Ryan Fitzpatrick is much more prone to take chances – and commit the big turnover. Bowles is the superior coach as proven by him taking Ryan’s former team to 10 wins a year ago while Ryan took a 9-7 Bills team that almost made the playoffs in 2014 to 8-8 and a third-place finish in the AFC East in 2015. He had one of the best performances of his career, completing 24 of 34 passes for 374 yards, and he did so against a defensive coach who had tortured him throughout his career. He got going early and opened it up for everyone else.

This week, the Jets will enter the game as slight favorites, as they are minus one on the road.

It was not an easy game for the Jets though, as they lost momentum going into overtime.

-Both of Buffalo’s touchdown drives lasted only three plays each covering 82 and 75 yards. Safety Nickell Robey-Coleman capped the run by returning Jalin Marshall’s fumble 36 yards for a touchdown.

The Bills’ offense sputtered in a 13-7 loss at Baltimore on Sunday, and now it was their defense that showed cracks against the Jets.

The Jets went on to finish the drive and score a touchdown on a run from Matt Forte. The defense would then come up big again.

A lopsided first half featured two touchdowns and two field goals for the Jets.

Darrelle Revis, once thought of by many as the NFL’s premier cover cornerback during his prime, was torched for the second-straight week and the Jets should be anxious.

Marshall said he felt good once he returned, but acknowledge he’ll have his knee re-evaluated once the Jets return home.

Maybe the most glaring mental error was receiver Eric Decker getting flagged for taunting at the end of that negative 58-yard bomb. Matt Forte would add 100 yards on the ground on 30 carries, as they got the job done against Ryan and the Bills.
