Derek Carr is lighting up defenses since Oakland’s bye week.
Given the current predicament of the New York Jets, reports are surfacing regarding the plan of the National Football League team to look for a quarterback elsewhere.
Jets starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick tore ligaments in his left thumb with 11:06 left in the first quarter at the end of a 14-yard scramble when he was tackled by Woodson.

The latest injury update on Fitzpatrick isn’t promising. “Coming out of the bye was big for us to come out hot, come out rolling”, Carr said. “We didn’t do anything well, so everything they did, they did it well”. Sebastian Janikowski missed a 52-yard field-goal attempt but later connected from 52 and 47. The first came halfway through the third quarter, a four yard dump off to Eric Decker, and the second in the fourth quarter, a one yard catch by tight end Kellen Davis. He ran down the sideline and had a chance to step out of bounds before being drilled by David Amerson.

“I was happy to get the opportunities and happy to make plays out of those opportunities”, Holmes said. The Raiders did much of their damage to the left side, including runs of 26 and 25 yards by Murray. It was the second of two touchdown receptions for Holmes, who had a breakout day after an unremarkable start to the season.
