Jets’ Marshall, Decker sit out practice, Forte limited

And that’s for a team that also has wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, and running back Matt Forte in the mix.

Clearly, Enunwa has put everything together and if he stays healthy, will easily be a difference-maker for the Jets all throughout the regular season. Marshall came out of the game only briefly and not only returned, but returned to produce in the game.

“I hear Quincy in the background saying, ‘I’m taking your spot.’ I hear Decker saying, ‘I’m the guy.’ I can’t take any time off”, Marshall said, according to the New York Post.

“I was a fan last night”, Marshall said, laughing. He said he was able to get through the game because of adrenaline as well as the painkiller Toradol, which he had taken before the game to deal with other ailments. You don’t get the sense that Forte is scarfing down Big Macs very often.

“It’s a blessing, I’m going into Year 11, and I just didn’t want it to end that way”. “The only time I curse, sometimes, is in football, so I’m trying to be better”. “But we’ll see how long he’s out and how well these guys play”, Bowles said. “That was in my system before the game so I had that going”.

It’s still unclear if Brandon Marshall, the Jets’ top wide receiver, will play Sunday at the Chiefs.

Charles has been practicing since training camp, but coach Andy Reid has been cautious when it comes to activating him for game day. “Now, it’s more so, ‘What’s the defense doing?”

Working closely with Fitzpatrick last season and throughout the offseason workouts has also helped.

But after limping to the sideline, and walking back to the locker room, Marshall was cleared to return, and played the rest of the game.

Whether it’s lined up on the outside, in the slot or on the line of scrimmage, Enunwa has been able to make a difference so far for the Jets.

“You go over it in the classroom, then you run it over and over ad nauseam when you get on the field”, he said, “until we’re blue in the face – until we get it right”.
