Fitzpatrick absolutely destroyed a besieged Bills secondary, completing 24 of 34 pass attempts for 374 yards and that score to Decker. By the end of the second TD drive, Fitz had 211 yards passing and the Jets had scored on all four possessions.
And the timing couldn’t have been better for Fitzpatrick and the offense to show that maybe previous year was no fluke because this was about as much of a must win as there could be in Week 2.

The Jets were not to pull away until after Sheldon Richardson stuffed LeSean McCoy on a fourth-and-one at the Jets’ 45-yard line. He was making him look bad, however, much like Bill Belichick always used to do to Peyton Manning early in his career.
Quincy Enunwa: I did not want to get too excited after one game, but now Enunwa has put in a pair of strong receiving games. Jets receiver Jalin Marshall caught a short slant pass and was in the grasp of cornerback Ronald Darby.
He finished with six catches for 101 yards, while Decker led the team with six catches for 126 yards.
Eric Decker: So did Decker on his way to a 6 catch, 124 yard night with a touchdown.
None of those things are going to please a defensive-minded head coach like Todd Bowles. It was a dubious call because Enunwa slipped and fell on the play. LB Erin Henderson did not return because of a foot injury. Now that the Jets have their first win of the season under their belts, it’s time to enjoy this victory but also understand, there is still plenty of football left to play.

And so, now, just two games into the regular season, the Bills find themselves in a pickle. “I thought Ryan Fitzpatrick played a good ballgame and we scored some points, which were scarce the last couple of times we played them”.
