IK Enemkpali–the man responsible for Geno Smith’s broken jaw-isn’t the only Buffalo Bill with a troubled past. I think the whole team is moving forward.

“He did pretty decent in there”, Ryan said.

“I haven’t seen him”, he said. “But I also believe that he’s going to learn from this”. He expressed gratitude to the Bills for giving him another chance to futher his career.

Bills veteran Fred Jackson said he doesn’t anticipate the addition of Enemkpali creating any kind of stir in Buffalo’s locker room. “We got some, good situational work for us as an offense at the end”.

The headline on the cover of Wednesday’s New York Daily News was “Luck of the Jaw!”

“We don’t have any worry about that at all”, said Jackson.

“It’s just been a whirlwind”, Enemkpali said of his week.

“It was a little rowdy and physical”, Chris Ivory said.

Enemkpali’s addition is the latest offseason twist between the AFC East rivals.

In New York, former Bills coach Chan Gailey is the Jets’ offensive coordinator.

Coach Todd Bowles initially said Smith was expected to be sidelined 6-10 weeks, and that timetable was expected to remain in place.

He was on New England’s non-football injury list with a hamstring issue, ESPN.com reported.

It’s been less than a week since Enemkpali punched Smith and knocked him out of action for at least the next few weeks. Yes, Jets fans want to know how Geno Smith is doing.

NOTES: The Jets return to the practice field Saturday after a day off Friday….

“This isn’t a UFC match”, Jets guard Willie Colon said.

“That makes for a dumb player and we are not trying to have dumb players”.

Enemkpali, from Pflugerville, Texas, has been in previous trouble for fighting. When he was in college at Louisiana Tech, he punched an off-duty police officer during a bar fight.

In the statement, he said, “I want to apologize to the Jets, the fans, the teammates and coaches”. The Jets fired Enemkpali right away, and also he might deal with discipline from the NFL in the future for violating the individual conduct rules. I apologize for what happened. I never really regained my focus, because preseason football is bad. “I appreciate the opportunity I had with the Jets”.
