Jets vs. Chiefs Final Score
The picks were a career-high for Fitzpatrick, who played like the journeyman quarterback he is reputed to be rather than the man who earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week Honors last week. On the Jets’ second drive of the game, he threw a bad pass under pressure on third down that was intended for the rookie Marshall, but was intercepted by Peters. But in the lead-up to the Chiefs game, the quarterback stressed that the feel-good vibes from that win would mean nothing if they failed to win in Kansas City.

According to CBS, the Jets entered the game 0-62 in road games when they trailed by 14 or more at halftime.
As the Jets drove again with the minutes ticking away in the fourth quarter, Fitzpatrick threw a couple of near-interceptions before chucking up this fourth pick to safety Daniel Sorensen at the Chiefs’ 22-yard line. You’d like to see more points on the board with that many turnovers. Looks a little different when you put it like that, right?
Alex Smith dinked and dunked the Jets to death. Travis Kelce had a touchdown and almost 100 yards. Moments later, the Jets were back in scoring territory, but this time the Fitzpatrick pass was tipped by wide receiver Quincy Enunwa and caught by Peters in the end zone for his second interception of the day and fourth on the season. That’s 13 interceptions in 21 career games which is ridiculous. The Jets’ final five drives all ended with interceptions.
The Chiefs safeties had a few pass breakups, a few big hits and a key interception.
Berry’s interception was huge (he dropped another one).
Instead of a touchdown, it was a touchback.
Meanwhile, Charles was listed as doubtful for the Jets on Friday’s injury report, and it is becoming increasingly likely that the four-time Pro Bowl player will not play before the Chiefs’ bye. On first and goal from the 5 he forced a pass into the end zone, it was almost intercepted by Eric Berry. In that game, Fitzpatrick threw for over 370 yards, as the Jets sliced up former coach Rex Ryan. So at least the last guy to do this is one of the best quarterbacks of all-time, which is nice.
Two Fumbles: After Powell’s fumble, the Jets defense gave up yards and yet stiffened in the red zone.
The refs ruled it a touchdown because Ware took the handoff and dove into pylon. But upon review, the referees determined that Ware had lost control of the ball before he broke the plane and fumbled forward into the end zone.

But one they could not capitalize on.
