“Jews Choose Trump” Praises Candidate for Reference to Israel’s Use of Profiling
Trump suggested that the United States would have greater success in its own security efforts if it followed suit.

TRUMP: Our police are wonderful, our local police, they know who a lot of these people are. They profile. They see somebody that’s suspicious, they will profile. “Where if we see somebody that we think there could be a problem, at airports and other places, you talk to them and you see what’s going on”. They profile. They see somebody that’s suspicious, they will profile. “They will take that person in and check [him or her] out”.
Trump’s comments came after Ahmad Khan Rahami was arrested on Monday by local and federal law enforcement in New Jersey following a shootout with police.
Curiously, the CNN.com article also correctly notes that “Trump did not say on what attributes he would encourage police to profile possible suspects”, yet both the headline and first paragraph say Trump was defending “racial” profiling. And that’s what speaks to the fact that he is doing better among those who want a commander in chief or somebody who’s going to fight terrorism, because he is going with that kind of visceral feeling of we got to get these guys and it doesn’t matter what the costs are, whether it is racial profiling or civil liberties, or immigration policies.
Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, disputed that Trump meant police should start “racial” profiling.
There are no comments on this feature at present. “We have people so anxious about political correctness that look at what this did the other night, people were injured”.
In a telephone interview Monday on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends”, Trump said he would “knock the hell out of” terrorist groups as president.
What’s going on at CNN in terms of their “hard news” editing process these days? Other outlets, including the avowedly left-wing Mother Jones and Rolling Stone, had also picked up the false “Trump calls for racial profiling” meme. But when you stick the word “racial” in front of it you have yourself a liberal talking point which is a sure fire way to gin up the base and get out the vote for Democrats.

The American left argues that such practices amount to racial profiling, and are hence racist, but these practices have nothing to do with race.
