Jide launches Remix OS Player, an Android emulator for your PC
No, not as a dual-boot system or something that you need to install directly on the hardware, but as something you can run on top of Windows, giving you access to your favorite Android apps and, of course, games.

That said, the Android Start Button pulls up a menu with all the installed apps such as Chrome, Facebook, the Play Store, and so on. The company that is now perhaps most popular for its “Android PC” Remix OS spin is bringing that very same productivity-focused Android experience to Windows as the Remix OS Player. Finally, “Jide Technologies” have themselves come up with a solution of their own in the form of “Remix OS Player”. Launching Remix OS is as simple as opening the program. Ultimately, Remix OS Player provides a virtual Android desktop within a Windows desktop. Remix OS Player is basically an emulator, allowing users to run an Android operating system and its apps within Windows 7 (64-bit) or newer. It is based on the emulator from Google’s own Android Studio, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it contains not a few changes to make the experience a lot smoother. The emulator is optimized for PC usage and is based on Google’s Android Studio.
Mac support is coming soon.
I suspect the primary appeal of Remix OS Player will be the ability to download and play Android games from the Play Store.

Love mobile games, but wish you had more room to work with? The tagline for “Remix OS Player” as written on their official website is “The most advanced Android game emulator for PC” meaning that the player has been specifically created to allow smooth gameplay. For instance, users could have multiple games running side by side, or have a chat app open as well for talking strategies with other players. Jide is also promising a more modern experience than other emulators. Dubbed as the Remix OS Player, this emulator is targeted at people who want to run and play their Android games on a PC environment. It ships on a handful of tablets, mini-desktops, and other devices, and earlier this year Jide released Remix OS for PC, allowing just about anyone to download and run the operating system on computers with Intel or AMD chips. While the Play Store is installed, it doesn’t appear to be fully working for everyone.
