Warm, moist air will continue to flow into the Carolinas through the weekend. Sea water temperatures are mostly in the mid to upper 80s. The big question is, will the storms impact the games.

AT THE BEACH: About seven to nine hours of sunshine over the weekend with a few scattered showers and storms from Gulf Shores to Panama City Beach; pretty much the same type weather on through much of next week.
The chance for showers and a few storms lingers overnight into Friday morning.
Tomorrow, expect another scattering of showers and storms during the latter half of day; don’t anticipate a washout by any means.
Temps will be in the mid 80s for most of this weekend and the greatest chance for showers and storms is actually late Sunday possibly around midnight until 5 a.m. Monday. Outside of that, expect variable clouds and lows in the 70s. Neither day will feature front to back washouts, though storms could be heavy at times with lightning and gusty winds. Highs at the beaches will be near 90 degrees.
Heat and humidity will continue to push northward for the rest of the week, with showers and storms becoming likely by Thursday night and for most of Friday and Saturday. Fiona will struggle to maintain strength amid dry air and wind shear.
Both models do agree however, that this system should reach Caribbean in the 5-7 day time frame, with a possible US threat, at least for a moisture surge if nothing else, in the 10 day plus time frame.

Sunday night: Again showers and storms are expected, 60 percent chance now, between midnight and 5 a.m. and temps around 70 degrees. It is forecast to remain a tropical storm at least through next Tuesday.
