The parents, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary just a few days before baby Quincy’s arrival, have not mentioned the newborn on their social media pages, but they did post a brief message to fans on their website.

This is the first child for Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald.

According to the Daily Mail, Anna Duggar gave birth to her son, Michael, while seated on a toilet in the same home.

“Mother is bleeding after birth”.

Moments later, Michelle updated Jessa’s status on the phone by saying, “She’s better now, just a lot of blood”. Michelle is heard repeating the officer’s instructions to her companions until the ambulance finally arrived.

The former “19 Kids and Counting” star posted a picture of her and Seewald happily holding their baby a background of what appears to be a white sheet and newborn wrapped in a mint green blanket, along with a caption “Our sweet baby boy was born last night”, E!

The Duggars are known to support a traditional and conservative lifestyle and are advocates of home birthing. And even though her sister Jill had to give birth at a hospital after her son was two weeks late back in April, Jessa still insisted on giving birth to her son this week at home, even though her life might have been at risk.

Baby Seewald is the first child for Jessa and Ben, who married on November 1, 2014.

As far as the baby, Michelle said that he was doing both “wonderful” and “great”.
