Ms Hourigan said the local community was left reeling by the news, adding: “Nobody saw this coming. The community will be rallying around the family now”.

Among the known works of Cathriona White includes various comedy and drama projects like “The Online Gamer”, “Firefly” and “Solitude”. Her family has been notified of her sudden death, and they are receiving assistance from the Irish Consulate in San Francisco.
