Jim Harbaugh reveals 49ers wanted to draft Julio Jones

No, Saban doesn’t need to worry about what Jim Harbaugh and MI are doing.

The Michigan coach is at a camp Tuesday at South Alabama.

Harbaugh donned a Julio Jones Falcons jersey, in what could be perceived as the latest shot in his feud with Alabama head coach Nick Saban. Jones, an Alabama native and former Crimson Tide football player, is very well known in the state. Second, Nick Saban says he is not going to any satellite camps.

But with everyone getting involved in the madness, Saban too has deployed some of his troops to the different camps.

“I have no beef about Jim Harbaugh”, Saban said, according to AL.com while at his Nick’s Kids charity golf tournament.

“I’m anxious about what we do, what our program does, what our players need to do, what our coaches are doing”.

“So as much as it pains me to say, because I really wouldn’t want to play for either, I’m a Notre Dame guy, but I’d have to maybe say Harbaugh in this case”.

Saban was quick to point out that Alabama’s camps in Tuscaloosa were focused on teaching rather than trying to land prospects.

We guess you can score one more small victory for Harbaugh in the ongoing “battle” between he and Saban. That’s enough for me. “Our camp is all about helping young high school players improve and have a better chance to help their team. That’s as much as I can handle”.

From then to now, just the opposite has happened, and I’m thankful for it. “I was probably just 11 years old or something (in 1964). I’ll never forget that for some reason”. How (Ali) made the statement that ‘I always win the fight somewhere far, far away doing road work or in the gym.

Saban runs the nation’s top football program.

“Ed did an outstanding job during his time with us at Alabama, and we are extremely excited to have him return to our staff”, Saban said. He joined the Eagles in 2012 as the assistant director of pro scouting before being promoted to assistant director of player personnel.
