Jimmy Butler, not Derrick Rose, is the Bulls Best Player

G Aaron Brooks had 12 points before leaving the game with a left hamstring injury in the fourth quarter. He walked off the court on his own just two plays after he tweaked the ankle on a foul by Monta Ellis.

Jimmy Butler scored a season-high 32 points and the Chicago Bulls beat the Phoenix Suns 103-97 on Wednesday night for their fourth straight victory.

The Bulls have been using Kirk Hinrich and E’Twaun Moore with Rose out and with his return, Hinrich will be back on the bench. Due to the injury, Rose continues to experience double vision and wears a protective mask over his face. Hinrich averaged 15.5 points and 3.5 assists in the two games while shooting a scorching hot 66.7 percent overall and 83.3 percent from three. Noah had zero points with seven rebounds, one steal and four turnovers against Golden State and after the game, Noah said to KC Johnson that he is “frustrated with the way I’m playing” and that “I’m trying to figure it out, keep working”.

In this sense, the Bulls must show similar fortitude to what they displayed last January when they posted the last regular-season victory by a visiting team in Oakland, Calif. Curry is going to hit shots, regardless of who is guarding him. In the same ESPN report, the Chicago Bulls star shared that he does not intend to force himself to play if his body can not keep up with the pressure. The Bulls have a special player, a true two-way force they can build around.

“I hope they remember it”, Walton said.

Because of the ankle woe, Hoiberg added that they made the decision to rest Rose in the game against the Suns and re-evaluate him the day after. “Still had a little soreness, but he wanted to try and push through, get through a full workout, and it was good to see him back out there again”.

Of course, Butler went on to have the best season of his career in a Bulls uniform.

The Blazers are coming off two back-to-back wins against the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers.

He didn’t dominate the ball, but he affected the game all over the place: 28 points, nine rebounds, seven assists. This isn’t terribly surprising once you begin to factor in defense, but should the Bulls not bring their best stopping efforts, they could very well lose any perceived strengths they have in this aspect of the game. Nikola Mirotic added 18 points and 10 rebounds and center Pau Gasol added 14 points and 10 rebounds f Chicago, who were held to 39.8 percent shooting. Speaking to Talking Points, a Mercury News blog, Nash said that Curry is the most skilled player to ever step foot in the league.

“We’ve got guys who can score so well on offense, but then you forget how important it is to play defense”, he said.
