Jimmy Eat World Tease New Album with “Get Right”

This marks the band’s first release since 2013’s Damage, their eighth record.

“There was some stuff that was in the “fully formed” category”, he said, “but most of it was sort-of put together in a more spontaneous, more breathing kind of environment”.

Alt/indie rockers Jimmy Eat World announced their return on Monday in the form of a new song called Get Right. The moniker would make sense, as it was also the name of a song that frontman Jim Adkins performed live during his solo tour last summer.

What we do know is that the band will be playing some “exclusive gigs” in London and Germany next month, which is very exciting.

“I’m willing to check my ego and ask, ‘What’s the best way to approach this and solve this issue or problem?'”

“I can’t wait to play the new songs for people”.
