Jimmy Kimmel Tries Couples Therapy with Matt Damon
So couples therapy it is. “That zoo was supposed to be something attractive … and you never even showed up”, exclaims Damon – they realize what their real problem is.

Damon also requests a television and maybe a Wi-Fi connection in his basement room in the studio where he now lives. “He thinks the world revolves around him….”
For the past 12 years, Jimmy Kimmel has ended each broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live! by apologizing to Matt Damon for bumping the actor for time.
“I imagine it would suck to be him”, Kimmel responded when asked to put himself in The Martian star’s shoes. “We have other guests – which he doesn’t care about, obviously – I have a monologue to do, we have a band, sometimes we have important commercials to run…” “Everything except the duct tape happens to me every night…The show’s right there and he can’t get to it”.
Getting upset, Damon claimed that Kimmel “talks the talk and now he makes me think I am insane”. “I just wanted to build something with him and share it and nurture it and watch it grow. It’s not a movie star face and a movie star body”.
At the end of the session, Kimmel pledged to try and get Matt a few airtime – just not tonight – and Damon committed to another 12 years waiting in the green room, especially if he was given a TV to watch.

Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel have a celebrity bromance like few others. “Because this counselling thing has gone on for a pretty long time”.
