In conversation with ET at the BAFTA Awards Season Tea Party, Star Wars: Episode IX director, Colin Trevorrow promised that the answers are worth waiting for. “George Lucas as director of Episode IX would be the ideal way to end this new trilogy and make an epic farewell between the Father of Star Wars and the whole universe of the galaxy far, far away”.
Seeing as we know next to nothing about next year’s Episode VIII, Trevorrow is surprisingly open about what’s being planned for Episode IX, which doesn’t hit theaters until 2019. “In that regard for sure, but I’m also relieved to have gotten a chance to do a Star Wars movie”. “I wanted to take her so bad to see “Star Wars, ‘” Oswalt said”. Under the guidance of several veterans from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, Star Wars Rebels has proven to be one of the best animated shows on television while successfully recapturing the tone of the original trilogy.

“Force Awakens” star John Boyega recently opened up about “Episode VIII”, describing the next film in the franchise as “much darker” than “Episode VII”, calling his role as Finn “more physical” in the sequel.
