JJ Abrams ‘regrets’ not directing Star Wars: Episode VIII

Star Wars: The Force Awakens only just arrived in theaters last week, but talk is now shifting to its follow-up.

J.J. Abrams wishes he was directing Star Wars: Episode VIII
Kylo Ren, the villain, is a different take on the Sith and is intimidating while contributing to a couple amusing scenes. The film also does not have a working title yet and for now, it is only being referred to as “Star Wars: Episode VIII “.

When a defector named Finn crash-lands on a desert planet, he meets Rey (Daisy Ridley), a tough scavenger whose droid contains a top-secret map. Han Solo and Chewbacca are back and have some of the best interaction with one another in the series.

It should be stated that Episode 8 writer/director Rian Johnson probably has far more creativity in one finger than I do in my whole body (as evidenced by his filmography).

Same Sith, different day, am I right? This has led to numerous fan theories surfacing on the internet suggesting who possibly can be her parents and if they will be revealed in the eight instalment of the space action thriller. Episode VIII is 520 days away, and that seems like forever. It will be very interesting to see where Ren ranks in the Star Wars villain hierarchy by the time the new trilogy is complete, but he’s off to a great start.
