JK Rowling confirms Harry Potter’s story is complete: “we’re done”

The book was released globally at 11:01am (NZT) on July 31 – the date of the titular wizard’s birthday – and is a published version of a two-part stage play now running in London. Jim Radford said, “I’m 49 years old and waiting for a kids book to come out, so I can’t wait”.

Managers said they had pre-sold hundreds of copies already, which proved to them that the joy of a good book is still as magical as ever.

The script – written by Thorne from a story by Rowling, Thorne and Tiffany – picks up 19 years after the end of the final novel, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”.

Likewise, speculation has run rampant that “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” could earn a spot on Broadway in the future. “I think these discussions will cast a new light on the series, and anyway the books are such that every time you read them, you learn something new”.

People gather for the release of the new Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, at Dymocks in Sydney.

Barnes & Noble in Fargo tells us they will remain open Saturday night until the last customer is out the door.

It took Toby L’Estrange just 59 minutes to read the story, after he was challenged by Amazon to produce the first review on the site.

She said she had tried to buy tickets online to see the London theatre production but was disappointed to miss out.

“[The play] chimed perfectly with the material I had about the next generation and I could see it would work perfectly”, Rowling added.

Without entering spoiler territory, it’s safe to say that the play has much to make fans rejoice.
