JK Rowling Confirms Harry Potter’s Story ‘Is Done Now’

“These people, I mean they live, breathe, know everything there is to know about Harry Potter and I can not claim to be one of them”, she said laughing.

Harry Potter fans may be a bit groggy today. Because these aren’t traditional Harry Potter novels, some people were unsure how the books would sell, but bookstores across the country are selling out.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now set to run through December 2017 at London’s Palace Theatre.

Almost ten years since the final book J.K. Rowling wrote for the franchise, a new installment, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, dropped at midnight. This book picks up where the seventh book left off and early reviews suggest that Rowling has a victor on her hands yet again!

JK Rowling has estimated that she has turned down more than 1,500 offers for Harry Potter spin-off projects in the last 10 years.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is billed as the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and is to be published at midnight on July 31.

It’s safe to say that the Harry Potter series is legendary.

It was also known that when the final book of Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which was released in year 2007, Rowling stated that its the termination of book series of Harry Potter. At least, we now have the wizarding world of Newt Scamander to explore when Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens on November 18, kicking off a brand-new trilogy of films.

However, the wizarding world is not over yet.

“It’s been more than what we were expecting which we were very very happy with”, Gibson’s event coordinator, Elisabeth Jewell said.

The second edition of the book – which will be an update of the current play – is due for release in 2017.
