A Harry Potter fan sought a favor from author J K Rowling and she obliged because when a potter-head is in need, Rowling comes to the rescue.

“I will never be able to thank you enough Jo”, she writes, before writing that she intends to get the magical charm tattooed “on the wrist I usually cut the most”.
JK Rowling saw the letter and responded by making the woman’s wish come true, sending her an image of the spell written out in her handwriting.
Sharing her tragic life story, including references to bullying and self-harm, Kate asked Rowling to write out the words “Expecto Patronum” in her handwriting. So essentially, Kate wants to tattoo the words as a protective spell. According to the Centers For Disease Control, there is one suicide every 13 minutes in the United States.
Her latest reply clearly pleased its recipient. But of course, the most important viewer was Rowling herself.
Even more heartwarming was the message that accompanied it, which read: “I love that you’re working to heal and protect yourself”. ‘You deserve this. I hope it helps’. I’m hoping less. I would get it the next day after her response, but money’s a bit tight right now.
She said: “I’m so beyond grateful, and blessed, to have someone as awesome as @jk_rowling in my life”.

In another tweet, Katerina had explained that she already has six Potter-themed tattoos.
