Joanna Jedrzejczyk Has Request For Rival Claudia Gadelha: ‘Be Quiet’
Joanna Jedrzejczyk hasn’t quite reached superstar status quite yet, but if the punishing striker scores another memorable win at UFC 193, she’ll be well on her way. She was injured, she was not able to fight on November 14.

“I kind of like that position, I gotta say”. I feel like I have nothing on my shoulders. I just float. And it’s not the first time it’s happened to me. “Anderson Silva, I believe, would be a good fight”, said Mousasi. “I was training in gyms where there was not even a locker (room) for girls”. The first punch I threw, she shot on me [for a takedown]. So I like that. We were supposed to fight on January 2 but I’ve got the chance to fight on this card in Melbourne, so I just said yes.
UFC 193 will take place in Melbourne, Australia. The Canadian couldn’t disagree more.
“The fact that Joanna thinks I’m scared…I just can’t wait to see her face when I walk in the Octagon”. I so don’t give a (expletive) when I step in there. “I don’t know if she’s doing that for the show or she tries to convince herself, but I hope that’s the way she thinks”.

Letourneau is just days away from challenging formidable champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and made the admission when asked about the challenges of being a woman in a traditionally male dominated sport. The Polish champ, undefeated with 10 wins and zero losses, faces a tough matchup against Canada’s Valerie Letourneau. If not for a thumb injury, they’d likely be fighting here and the eventual rematch of their bout from last December is already a must-see fight for 2016, especially given that plenty of people scored the fight in her favour and she’s coming off a one-sided decision win over Jessica Aguilar. There are challengers that will come at her, including Valerie Letourneau this weekend, but Jedrzejczyk’s skills are such that she’ll be incredibly tough to beat no matter who comes after her title. But what’s even more incredible is that during his reign as the 185-pound champion, all but two of Silva’s wins came by way TKO, KO or submission. Claudia Gadelha was viewed as the top fighter in the organization’s newest division, Season 20 of The Ultimate Fighter was in full swing and Paige VanZant had yet to make her promotional debut. This is where I want people to see the difference.
