Job well done? Rubio, Cruz share handshake behind Trump’s back at debate
Trump fired back Friday during a press conference where he announced the New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s endorsement that Rubio was the one who was using makeup to cover up his sweat.

“The best person to stop Hillary Clinton from ever within ten miles of the White House”, Christie said, describing why he chose to throw his support behind Trump.
Bloomberg Politics published a poll conducted by Purple Strategies that found Donald Trump led the other Republican candidates in Southern states due to vote by March 1.
Donald Trump boasted about his performance at the Republican debate, tweeting Friday morning, “Wow, every poll said I won the debate last night”. Bernie Sanders, they will also be keeping their eyes on the Republican race.
Rubio also said at the campaign event that Trump had to check during the debate that “his trousers were not wet”.
Check back for more information on this developing story.
Trump called Rubio rehashing the past as a “cute soundbite”. To them, I’d say, this may actually be too little too late. Ted Cruz of Texas came at Trump with rapid-fire attacks in an effort to slow the real estate developer’s momentum.
“You know, to win the nomination, you actually have to win states, you have to win delegates”, Cruz said, referring to Rubio.
He told the crowd that despite Trump calling Rubio “Mr. Meltdown”, Trump was the one having a meltdown backstage.
“A con artist is about to take over the Republican Party and the conservative movement”, Rubio charged on CBS’ “This Morning”. Pollsters added that 36 percent of that total said Trump’s victory in the GOP presidential primary is “very likely”. Rubio bashed Trump left and right. But it’s hard to blame Rubio for stealing from Trump’s handbook.

Mr. Trump, who later corrected the spelling in the Twitter post, is 69. I don’t know why, the podium only went up to here. Both Cruz and Rubio spent most of Thursday night’s debate attacking Trump on everything from Trump University to his past stances on immigration, but it’s Rubio who stood out due to its being his first time attacking Trump in any significant way.
