Joe Biden Is As Good As Go For 2016 Bid

Hillary Clinton could not speak of mourning a loss so freely without paying a price.

Some thought Vice President Joe Biden’s wife opposed him jumping into the 2016 presidential race, but it now appears as if Dr. Jill Biden is fully on board.

“Your whole family is engaged, so for us, it’s a family decision“, said Biden. Bernie Sanders.

“Clearly, the Democrats have several very attractive candidates”.

Hill could haunt Biden: If Biden does run, Politico writes, the case of Anita Hill could make a difference as he seeks the support of women and African-Americans.

With signs that her political hemorrhaging may finally be abating, Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Rodham Clinton was careful over the weekend to gingerly step around the topic of a possible late entry into the race by Vice President Joseph Biden – one that might seriously upend her prospects for winning the nomination.

I think that’s a big deal, based on just what it sounded like he was wrestling with, himself“, said Carney, a former staff assistant to Biden in the 1980s when he represented Delaware in the Senate.

Clinton, he said, is more vulnerable to losing voters in part due to the controversies that loom large over her campaign.

His recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert created a huge bump for the vice president, according to the Draft Biden statement. We know why Clinton is running: This is her chance to be historic and to be more practical than President Barack Obama’s administration. Sen. There are however other considerations to take into account, including the fact that the vice-president’s son, Beau Biden, died earlier this year.

Stretching out the announcement has other pitfalls. Separately, these supporters have investigating deadlines for Biden to get on ballots. “I know that’s not satisfying to anybody”. “They’re feeling it out”.

“They’d probably deny gravity as well”, he said in Anaheim. There are petition and paperwork requirements that will quickly pile up as the end of the year nears.

Few are convinced that would matter much.

All of this isn’t to say Biden couldn’t win (he could), or emerge dignified and eloquent (he can) – just that presidential campaigns are long (132 days until Iowa) and entail hard realities, including this Socratic method approach to personality.

He told America Magazine that he must be certain that he can give the presidency “all my passion, all my energy, and…not be distracted” if he decides to run, a sentiment Biden has expressed before.

“If you’re waiting for her to implode, just wait”. “If she implodes next May, the party’s going to turn to Joe Biden“.

“The essence of the legislation was a very controversial notion”, he said. If Clinton doesn’t improve, imagine how bad she’ll be in the general election debates.

Asked whether there is a place for pro-life Democrats within the party, the vice president said, “Absolutely”.

Some reports recently have suggested that Jill Biden was reluctant for Joe to run.
