Joe Hart returned to the Manchester City side against Steaua Bucharest

Aguero has started the season in confident style having found the net six times in all competitions so far, four of them coming in Manchester City’s Champions League qualifier against Steaua Bucharest.

Guardiola also denied there was a rift with Hart and insisted he has worked hard in training.

“I can not deny what everyone knows”, said Guardiola.

“After, we will speak about everything – and the situation with Joe, I’ve spoken about”.

City boast a commanding first-leg advantage over Steaua courtesy of a 5-0 win in the Romanian capital last week secured courtesy of a hat-trick from Sergio Aguero – who also missed two penalties – and efforts from David Silva and Nolito.

“I have said many times, he is a player of us”.

Guardiola said: “From the beginning we spoke with Sergio”.

Speculation that a deal could be imminent has now increased, after Bravo was pictured at the airport in Barcelona yesterday reportedly preparing to board a flight to Manchester.

The match proved an emotional ones for City fans, who sang “Don’t sell Joe Hart” when game kicked off and applauded many of his touches.

“But, I’m sorry guys, until a deal is complete or not complete, I will be open to answer questions about one player but until that moment he is not our player”.

Hart’s transformation from City’s No 1 for eight seasons to second, and possibly, third choice represents a remarkable turnaround for the 28-year-old Englishman.

But it is likely to be the goalkeeper’s farewell game because, despite his recall, he still wants to leave before the transfer deadline closes next Wednesday – and City will not stand in his way.

“After we will speak”.

As a result, Guardiola is expected to shuffle the pack for his side, meaning Toure and Hart could be in line for their first competitive appearances of the season.

“But it’s a process, so we need time to get better about our goal-kicks, about our build-up, and to create some movement to give some confidence to our attacking players”.

“I can not deny what everyone knows”, said the former Barca boss. I have a lot of respect for the opponent and I know what happens in football. Everybody knows it’s not done until it’s done. It’s only been three games and I’m still settling in, but I feel fit and I just want to keep working with the team. “I will make some rotations with the players”.

Barcelona have confirmed that they have “the beginning of an agreement” with Manchester City for the transfer of Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Everton’s refusal to pay all of Hart’s £135,000-a-week wages proved to be the main stumbling block in negotiations and Guardiola acknowledged that off-loading big earners is proving a problem.
