Joe Namath offers reward in search for missing Florida teens
Perry is Namath’s neighbor, and the former football player said the boys were experienced boaters.

Namath appeared at a press conference on Sunday during an update on the search for Perry Cohen and Austin Stephanos.
The Coast Guard says a boat belonging to two missing 14-year-old fishermen has been found off Florida’s Atlantic coast.
The Coast Guard said it would search throughout Sunday for the boys. We’ve got to believe in their wherewithal, and we have some confidence in that area, no doubt.
They’ve increased the reward from $60,000 to $100,000.
The youngsters, who had bought $110 worth of fuel for their boat, were last seen near Jupiter, about 90 miles north of Miami. So far, rescue crews have covered almost 15,000 square nautical miles.
The teens had been fishing from a 19-foot vessel with a single engine center console.
She said that when her son goes out he’s always conscientious about checking in.
The Coast Guard said a social media post by one of the boys indicated they may have been headed toward the Bahamas.

‘After speaking to the parents, they’re pretty certain these boys wouldn’t have ventured that far off, ‘ Coast Guard Petty Officer Mark Barney told the Sun Sentinel. “We will do anything to get our children back”.
