Videos posted to social media showed Perry shredding on his guitar before he suddenly walks over towards a speaker and stumbles off-stage.

Perry allegedly went into cardiac arrest where he had to be revived by on-site paramedics who administered CPR and followed to transport him to the hospital. “Joe Perry will rejoin his fellow Vampires on stage again soon”. “He is stable right now, with family and is under the best care.’ A statement was also issued on the band’s official page with a similar sentiment”.

In addition to Alice Cooper, other rock stars took to Twitter to wish the star a speedy recovery, including Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett and former Guns ‘N Roses/Hollywood Vampires drummer Matt Sorum. Hollywood Vampires are now in the midst of their first US tour. Perry thanked fans for reaching out to him on Twitter.

An administrator at Coney Island Hospital confirmed the 65-year-old Perry had undergone tests.

The band is about halfway through its first official USA tour, which is scheduled to continue this Tuesday, July 12, in Kettering, Ohio.

Kevin Phalon, an audience member, told NBC News that Perry collapsed during the second song of the band’s set.

The band also features Alice Cooper and actor/musician Johnny Depp.
