What rascals! He wouldn’t talk like Conor McGregor did, but neither did [former UFC welterweight champion] Georges St-Pierre. “In the grappling exchanges he will learn and panic will set in and he will cower like a little girl and begin his run, but I will catch him”.

“He’s skinny. I’m gonna destroy this dude”, said Money.
“This is the McGregor Show”, he said.
“Most certainly I will carry Brendan’s spirit in there and represent him and my country well”. That is day one novice stuff where I come from. “And now I am in a position where I am invincible”.
“I think [Mendes] is crumbling already, to be honest”, McGregor said Wednesday.
“I knew there was going to be a bunch of Brazilian fans here”.
McGregor spent much of the past several months promoting a matchup with Aldo as the UFC’s biggest fight of the summer, but the long-reigning, oft-injured champion dropped out with a broken rib 2 1/2 weeks ago.
The 26-year-old Dubliner said: “Yeah definitely, It’s awful news what happened to young Brendan”.
Mendes is one of the best fighters in the UFC, but his path to stardom has been blocked by Aldo. Mendes is a dominant wrestler, and the change in opponents presents an entirely different challenge for McGregor, but he didn’t slow down his training or his mouth. “I’m a thinker man, I always think and go through the fight in my head over and over again”.

On Chad Mendes’ chances in the fight: “I think Chad Mendes should be the favorite”. You know, Mendes has a good right hand, and if I can touch him, and Siver can touch him, so can Mendes. He will have a few scrambles in him, then he will break.
