Joey + Rory ‘Hymns’ speaks to power of music
They may not have won this year’s Grammy award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, but country singers and married couple Joey and Rory Feek say that just being nominated is “more than enough”.

“Instead, I will be sitting beside [Joey] and cheering on Little Big Town, and Blake Shelton and Charles and all the talented folks who are nominated in our category and others”, Rory went on.
The couple celebrated Valentine’s Day Saturday and watched the Grammys together. The next night, family and friends gathered in their Alexandria home to watch the Grammy Awards, for which the duo was nominated, but did not win.
The doting husband shared a tender photo of the mother-daughter pair on Instagram commemorating the special day.
According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, Joey Feek is very weak and is confined to her hospice bed.
In December 2015, Rory, who keeps fans updated on his wife’s condition through the blog “This Life I Live”, recounted how he broke the news of their Grammy nomination to Joey. Joey Feek had recently given Heidi and Hopie some of her favorite jewelry – a bracelet and a ring, both with “J+R” inscribed – and the two women wore them to the awards.

Last Friday, their latest album was released. In the video, Rory can be heard telling Indy that today is her birthday as she repeatedly smiles at the camera. “I have done many foolish things and made lots of mistakes in my life, but this isn’t going to be one of them”, the post from This Life I Live reads. Their daughters and manager will attend the show in Los Angeles on their behalf. Because the cancer was so advanced, her doctors recommended she undergo a radical hysterectomy, along with chemotherapy and radiation. Back in November, Rory wrote on his blog, that his wife, who is battling terminal cervical cancer, hoped “she might be able to still be here for Christmas, or for Indiana’s second birthday in February”.
