John Daly Angrily Threw His Club Into Lake Michigan
He made 10 on the hole and left his mark. “I’m sure I’ll get reprimanded for it”.

“I know we all go through it, but I just seem to go through it more than anybody for some reason”, added Daly after completing his round of 10-over 82 for an 11-over total of 155 that had him missing the halfway cut by miles.
Speaking in the parking lot later, Daly said he figures he’ll get fined and called the club throw more of a reflex than anything.
John Daly was within the cut line when he stepped up to the par-3 7th hole at Whistling Straits.
If Daly had stayed at 1-over, he would have been tied for 62nd, at least for the time being.
After shooting a 7-under 65 at the PGA Championship on Friday, Coetzee joked that he could use a little spending cash to pay off some debt he incurred in the money games against his South African buddies during the practice rounds earlier this week. He hit only four of 11 fairways.
It was quite a heave, possibly the most impressive move of the day.

While walking towards the green, perhaps realising that his chances of qualifying for the weekend had come to an end in a few mad minutes, he chucked the erring club into a lake.

After shooting an uneventful even par over the first six holes, with a birdie and a bogey, things unraveled quickly.
