John Goodman looked nearly unrecognizable at the London screening of Trumbo, a biographical drama starring himself, Helen Mirren and Bryan Cranston.

His current weight wasn’t specified, but Goodman, 63, once told People magazine: “It takes a lot of creative energy to sit on your ass and figure out what you’re going to eat next”.
Once tipping the scales at a sizeable 400lbs, John – who is best known for his roles in films such as Big Lebowski and Raising Arizona – stunned fans at the premiere with his new appearance.
This is not the first time the Goodman has been public about his weight loss struggles saying that his heaviest was 400 pounds.
Above, Goodman is pictured at the AFI Festival premiere for “The Gambler” in November 2014 and on the right at BFI on Thursday, October 8, less than a year later.
“And then it would just screw everything up”.

“I’d get off of Roseanne every spring. It’s going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life”, he added. His upcoming films include Bad Robot’s thriller Valencia and Jay Roach’s Trumbo.
