Seven-time Grand Slam singles champion John McEnroe will help prepare World No. 9 Milos Raonic for the grass court season this year.

John McEnroe says that Andy Murray has his best chance of winning the French Open following Rafa Nadal’s withdrawal.

“He’s one of five or six guys that can win Wimbledon”, he continued. “I’m excited to be part of his team”.
“And now there is going to be the three weeks leading to Wimbledon that we are going to work, and just find that sort of groove, that efficiency”.
“I’m sure he’ll consult throughout Wimbledon, as well, but he has his obligations through Wimbledon”. I know everybody I have around me wants to help me to the fullest.
“It’s not a focus for just Wimbledon, ” said the analytical Raonic. I think Milos is a great guy.
Raonic is nothing if not thorough in his approach to his profession – hence the expansion of his coaching team.
Raonic, who reached the semi-finals in SW19 in 2014, will play the Aegon Championships at Queen’s Club before Wimbledon. That’s it. I take everybody’s consultations very personally.

“It was a great honour (when McEnroe agreed), there’s a lot I want to achieve”, said 25-year-old Raonic.
